Questions
Delivery, freshness, payment, and what happens when something is not in stock.
We deliver across Tucson and the surrounding area, and delivery is free with no minimum order. Full details are on the delivery page.
Monday to Friday between 5pm and 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday between 9am and 8pm. There is no fixed cut-off time — whether your order makes the same window depends on your distance from us and what you ordered, so we confirm your delivery time when we confirm the order.
Not at the moment — every order is delivered to you. That may change as the business grows.
Frozen items are packed last and delivered the same day they leave us. Local delivery is the reason we start with Tucson rather than shipping nationwide — frozen cassava leaves and dried fish are exactly the goods that suffer in long transit.
We tell you, and you choose. We do not swap in a substitute without asking. If the correct ingredient is not available, knowing that is more useful than receiving something close to it.
Start with a kit. The starter kits gather everything one dish needs into a single order, so a first attempt does not require a long shopping list. The new to Liberian food selection is a good place to browse.
Staples like palm oil, toborge oil, and rice are sold in several sizes. Larger sizes cost less per unit, which is how most regular customers buy them. Pick whichever suits your household.
By card at checkout. Payment is handled by Stripe on their own secure page, so your card number never touches this site.
Groceries are not taxed in Arizona, so most of what we sell has no tax added. Non-food items such as skin care, beauty supply and merchandise are taxable, and any tax is shown separately before you pay.
